about

written in autumn '08, re-recorded in winter '10, this track was written in figlio, while waiting for my shift to start; and it was based on a ring i had drawn on myself. again, another sad song. very red house painters influenced.

lyrics

My left side feels the burn that remains
I’ve colored in red the finger for the ring
Whatever I have left can’t discern right
Or know to leave what’s wrong
Leaving guilt ten thousand men strong

My greasy hands leave marks on the screen
Except the autumn area fashioned like a ring
Whenever I decide to drop the hurt I hide
It’s your smile and love I need to find
If it passes; you’d know that I definitely tried

Lights are dimming, paths are slimming…and where does that leave me? (Too late)
